By using FastRemove you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
FastRemove decodes an image you upload and encodes a new image from the decoded pixels. Metadata containers such as EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC and C2PA are not carried over into the new file. The service also reports recognizable metadata signatures found before and after processing.
You may only upload images you own or are authorised to process. You may not use FastRemove to create or distribute deceptive content, to misrepresent synthetic media as authentic, to remove ownership information from someone else's work, or for any unlawful purpose. FastRemove does not remove pixel-level or imperceptible watermarks and must not be presented as a tool that does.
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Metadata detection is signature-based and heuristic. We do not guarantee that every metadata field is detected or removed, nor that a result is suitable for any particular purpose. Always verify sensitive files yourself.
To the extent permitted by law, FastRemove and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the service, including data loss, quality loss or disclosure of information contained in files you upload.
Uploads are processed in memory and are not stored. The result exists only in the response sent back to your browser. The service may be unavailable, rate-limited or changed at any time without notice.
These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Several jurisdictions and most large platforms require artificially generated or manipulated media to be identified as such. The EU AI Act places transparency duties on providers and deployers of AI systems that generate or manipulate image content, and major platforms operate their own labelling rules independently of any law. FastRemove removes metadata containers; it does not judge whether your file falls under any obligation, and using it does not release you from one. If your image is required to carry a disclosure, you must preserve or restore that disclosure by other means. Ordinary uses — clearing camera, location, software and copyright fields from a photograph you took yourself — are not affected by this.
You are solely responsible for the files you upload, for what you do with the result, and for complying with the law and with the rules of any platform where you publish it. You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to process every image you submit. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of FastRemove against any claim, demand, loss or cost, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service or from content you processed with it. FastRemove is a general-purpose tool with no knowledge of your file, your intent or your jurisdiction, and it cannot and does not verify any of them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
